Q: What are the benefits to me?

A: The benefits are many. You'll eliminate interruptions caused when we call each month to gather usage information. The Smart Meter are timely and accurate, which reduces billing errors and estimates, and the associated costs to correct them. Monthly vs. quarterly collection can result in fewer overage costs and helps you to optimize your fleet based on actual usage. Smart Meter also offers proactive device management by capturing the error history for each of your machines.

Q: What if I do not want any software installed?

A: Our Smart Meter software solution is the only option to report meters automatically it does require a PC based computer to run this and collect meters from your devices. typically for Customers that have over 20 devices but do not have a spare computer/server we offer a hardware solution that works as well.

Q: Are there any requirements?

A: Yes. Each machine must be network connected, and your network must have the ability to access external websites (like this one).

Q: Can you read meters from non-networked devices?

A: No. IF the MFP is not connected to the network the device can not communicate with the software. typically with non connected devices we require manual reading or utilize a flat rate contractual obligation that doesn't require meters to be turned in.
